Bear Grylls, the media lovelies’ adventurer has been busy again. This time he has been part of the Olympic preparations, hurtling down a zip wire with the Olympic torch!
Watched by thousands in Newcastle, Bear Grylls jumped off the Tyne Bridge as fireworks went off around him and zipped down the 200 ft. wire.
The event was part of the Olympic flames 8,000 mile journey where it will be carried by 8,000 people in 70 days on its way to the opening ceremony of the Games in London on the 27th July!
Hopefully with the investment in Athletics over the last few years we might actually win a few medals! Only time will tell, here’s hoping!
